LAMORESCA BIANCO
Variety: Catarratto Extra Lucido
“Catarratto is a widely used grape variety in Sicily. This wine is crafted using Catarratto Extra Lucido, a sub-variety that yields fewer grapes per plant but boasts higher quality. All these plants are bush vines, planted in sandy soil. This soil imparts tremendous elegance and finesse to the wine. With this wine, we aim to restore honor to this variety. It is often harvested too early to produce light, high-acidity wines. By picking it at full ripeness and vinifying it as a fuller, more structured wine, we reveal the complete spectrum of the Catarratto grape.”
